Yesterday I decided to buy the web2submitter. My decision was first of all based upon that web 2.0 is a very interesting method to get new visitors, by that I mean to attract new visitors from the various social networking sites. I have only been using PlugIM lately (as you can see from the button at the top left on my posts here), and I know from my experience that by using PlugIM I have generated more traffic every single day, so why not test Web2Submitter as well? The price was right, it only costs $47 as a one time fee. Even if it doesn’t work, it’s not a big investment for me. The only thing that I was a little sceptical about was that the software had to be run under Windows, as I use osx (Mac) most of the time, but I have a laptop pc as well, so it was not a big problem for me. The transaction went as smooth as I expected and I had the software installed in less than 10 minutes after I clicked on the order button. Everything was really easy, and all the serial numbers and passwords worked. It was more or less perfect from the start.

My first post that I wanted to test at the Web2Submitter was the one with the incredible opera singer Paul Potts from the show Britain’s Got Talent. First, I had to register for all the social networking sites, like Netscape, Stumbleupon, Reddit and so on. I had only used about three of them before, now I had to register for about ten more. It took me about 10 minutes in total, and was not hard at all. I just had to click on the link inside Web2Submitter, and submit my information and then activate my account in an e-mail later on. So, just another ten minutes for me and now it was time to submit my post.

I wrote the headline, pasted the url for the post and wrote a short and interesting summary. It took me about two minutes. I was in a hurry and I was a little eager to test the software. After that I saved the information for the post in an archive, and could have submitted it later on, but I decided to give it a try right away.

Next, I had to log in to all the social networking sites. It was really easy as well, just one click for each site and it was done in a minute or so. Now, next to each one of the web 2.0 sites, there was a submit button and way to pick a suitable category for the post. I found the catogory that was perfect for Paul Potts and clicked on submit on each one of the web 2.0 sites.

Everything went really well, except for Netscape. There was a problem posting it to Netscape and I am not sure why it didn’t work, and I had to click on the submit button again for Reddit as it didn’t go through the first time. But it was not a real problem really.

From my statistics, I saw that in about 10 after I submitted my story via Web2Submitter, I had 10 new visitors from sites that I have never had visitors before. 10 minutes later, I had even 10 more. So, the first 30 minutes or so after I submitted the story about Paul Potts, I have had 20 new visitors to my site.

So, from my very short experience with Web2Submitter, I say that this software really works. It was all very easy, and it has proven to me that I get more visitors from using it. I can’t wait to see what will happen to my next posts….
